HIGH PRESSURE WELDING

The training is in a bilingual environment and is suitable to both francophone and anglophones as the evaluations are not written but practice in the shop.

5734- Attestation of Vocational Studies

When: 2 days a week (total of 80 days)- Start Date: Monday, November 2nd, 2020

Where: At LVTC Mondays and Tuesdays-Hours: 8am – 4pm (30 min for lunch).

How much: $260$ at registration including the test : “Certificat en soudage sur appareils sous pressionclasse A “.

How long: 8 days of theory (60 hours) and 72 days of practice (540 hours)

Description

To develop in the students the competencies required to integrate harmoniously in to the school and work environments, to perform tasks prerequisite to high-pressure welding, to understand the concepts and principles essential to the trade, to make use of information contained in drawings of pressure vessels, to apply the different processes used to weld pressure pipes, to apply the torch brazing process used on pressure pipes and to weld and repair pressure vessels.
